Rockstud Heels

Before we get started, I thought I'd share my favorites and not so favorites from this past week:

Favorites:
1. Getting my Valentino inspired Rockstud Heels in the mail. I was truly obsessing [do I say that too much?] over Rachel Parcell and her pink Valentinos, but the $900 price tag just wasn't something that I could justify. Like, ever. Even if I could afford that, I don't see why I would ever choose a $900 pair of shoes over a $30 pair of shoes. Anyway, I'm so thrilled to have them, and a huge thank you to Emily for recommending them!

2. Getting a fun package in the mail from A-Thread boutique. SO EXCITED.

3. Also getting my new swimsuit in the mail. And my new Clare Vivier leopard print clutch. [Also thanks to Emily.] You could say it was a really great mail weekend.

4. World War Z. Seriously so much better than I thought it was going to be. [But also a lot creepier than I thought it would be.]

Not so Favorite:
1. Remember last week when I mentioned the two year old that I nanny and our "stinky" swim experience? Yeah, well that may or may not have happened again the other night. But this time she pointed to the ground and said "ew." When we looked, there was in fact a not-so-nice little package waiting for us on the carpet.  [Is that totally TMI? Sorry. But it was too good--and gross--to not mention. It reminds me of that Office episode, The Carpet. "Hey guys. Is somebody making soup?" -Creed. Please tell me you get this reference?]

2. This Arizona heat. Seriously, guys. I've lived in Arizona for the past 13 years. You'd think by now I would be used to the heat, and yet I'm not. I think I'm ready for a change...

ANYWAY.

Yes, I pulled out the camo pants. Again. But I just can't help it. It is another one of my obsessions. And like I mentioned the other day, I don't think I can wear camouflage without wearing pink. I try, I really do. But I guess my girly side decides that it always needs to shine through. And I'm really okay with that. There are few things that I love more than the mix of camouflage and pink.

I call this outfit my wanna be outfit. I've got my Prada inspired sunnies, my Valentino inspired heels, and my Celine inspired bag. But aren't these shoes just to die for? I got them this past weekend, and they are possibly the greatest things to ever enter my wardrobe. Props to Emily [and whoever told Emily] for letting me know about these amazing and affordable Valentino inspired rockstud heels. I wanted to keep the rest of the outfit simple, opting for my favorite plain white tee, to not to take away from the shoes!
